It's almost Marissa's birthday. But until I learn how to wrap sanity I really have nothing to give her. I'm running short on patience as well. If I thought she'd actual go I'd find a way to send her away but I'm sure she'd have a thing or two to say about that and as she enjoys expressing herself by way of sharp and pointed implements I'd much rather keep it to myself.

Poetry. Like we haven't suffered enough. No one deserves a drink more than me right now.

I haven't slept. I can't sleep. And I have to go home and I don't want to because Marissa will be there and surely she's read that fucking article about fucking Crouch and will want to talk about it. Talk. That's hilarious. We don't 'talk' anymore. That's what normal people do. Talk. For sane people. Talk. Sanity is a sham. Sanity only lasts til the glass is empty.

You're really going to wait til I get home to mention

I'm craving a roast.

Holly. And wreaths. If you walked into my home you might be struck with the thought that it's Christmas time. I'm also not sure if it's me or if the amount of garland covering everything this year has intensified.

An assessment of how it went for you today would not be amiss.

I should have thought better of giving Marissa free reign in choosing costumes for the both of us. It seemed a harmless enough idea at the time and I have to admit I feel incredibly foolish saying those words now. There couldn't be a more apt word for it. I should have found a redecorating project for her instead.
